Okay I always thought this recipe was a total Mormon thing. But since I have lived out here I have not met one person that had already heard of it. Maybe it's just a Utah thing. I don't know.. But why buy cakesters when you can make them at home for cheaper and it's super to do with the kids. My kids think they are the best Family Home Evening treat.
1 box devils food cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 C of Veg. oil
Combine all ingredients. Roll into ping pong size balls. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. flatten them down with a spatula right after you pull them out. Cool and fill with frosting. I love to make my own home made cream cheese frosting for these.

Crab Rangoons
Last week for YW we had a cooking class and we made crab rangoons. These are so cheap and easy to make that there is no reason anyone should have to spend money buying them at a restaurant again...
1 block of cream cheese. Do not use low fat or less fat. It doesn't hold up as well in frying.
1 pkg of imitation crab meat
1 pkg of wonton wraps
Mix cream cheese and Crab meat. Fill each wonton wrap with about a teaspoon of filling. seal edges with water. Fry on med high til golden brown. Makes about 30 maybe more if you buy more wraps and don't overstuff.
